A rolling blind 1 for windows and the like comprises parallel slats 2 of synthetic plastics material articulated to one another by flexible bands 3 of such material secured thereto by electronic welding. The slats 2 are relatively rigid and may be of uniform thickness or have enlarged longitudinal edges 4 and may then be strengthened with wire. The bands 3 may be on one or two faces of the blind and may extend substantially the height of the blind.
