800,316. Boots &c. SCHNEIDER, G. m. b. H., J. & C. A. Oct. 16, 1955 [March 27, 1956], No. 31470/56. Class 17(2) The upper 1 is attached to a welt strip 2 and a lining strip 3 by stitching 8. The lining strip 3 is sewn at 6 to an insole 5 and the resultant sack is force lasted. A filler 4 of cork or similar material is stuck under the insole 3 and the welt strip 2 is turned under and stuck to it. An outsole and heel unit 7 is provided and toe and heel stiffeners may be inserted between the two strips.
