Abstract

821,065. Boots &c. KEMPNER & BRANDON Ltd. Sept. 13, 1957 [Sept. 20, 1956], No. 28804/56. Class 17(2) A shoe has a heel piece 9 stuck to the shoe bottom and provided with an extension 10 sewn at 11 to the heel of the upper. A sole 7 which may have an extension 8 is attached by adhesive. The extensions 8, 10 do not extend to the top of the upper so that it can be curved at 2 as with a normally lasted shoe. A reinforcing strip 6 is also provided. The sole 7 and heel piece 9 can be made of natural or synthetic rubber compositions including crepe rubber or of other material of similar flexibility.
