Abstract
797,534. Interrupters. LICENTIA PATENTVERWALTUNGS-GES. June 10, 1955 [June 29, 1954], No. 16708/55. Addition to 749,887. Class 38 (5). In a converter similar to that of the parent Specification, the moving contacts are connected in pairs 11, 12, &c. to one terminal X &c. of the secondary windings of a transformer, the fixed contacts of the pairs being connected to the positive and negative D.C. conductors in such a way that during one half-wave current flows from the positive conductor, contact 21, the winding between U and X, and contact 11 to the negative conductor. Sleeves 1, 2 have the same angular position, sleeves 3, 4 are displaced 60 degrees with respect to 1 and 2, and sleeves 5, 6 are displaced a further 60 degrees with respect to sleeves 3 and 4. The three secondary windings each carry currents 120 degrees displaced from each other.
