Class 98(2) Photographic processing apparatus comprising a liquid bath 1 and guide means 2, 2<SP>1</SP> for conducting sheets into the bath, has a pair of feed and squeeze rollers 3, 3<SP>1</SP> situated above the liquid level at the exit of the bath, the rollers being of a diameter too small to be sufficiently rigid and at least one roller being provided with a backing roller of larger diameter. Either or both small rollers may be backed by one or two larger rollers. The small rollers may be about # inch diameter. The backing rollers may be provided with a number of discs at regular intervals. As shown, each small roller is baced by a pair of larger rollers 4, 4<SP>1</SP>, and pressure is maintained between the pairs of rollers by a spring 12. Feed rollers are provided at the entrance to the bath comprising shafts, 13, 13<SP>1</SP>. fitted with a number of discs 7, 7<SP>1</SP>. These discs may be opposite each other as shown, or in staggered relationship. Similar rollers, 8, 8<SP>1</SP> may be provided to remove the sheets from rollers 3, 3<SP>1</SP>
