Abstract

1372495 Photographic processing rollers YAMAMOTO KOGYOSHO K K 18 Oct 1972 [29 Aug 1972] 48005/72 Heading G2X [Also in Division F2] A roller for applying a liquid (e.g. in a diazo printing process) is made of annular discs 1 stamped from a sheet of cellulose fibre (suitable fibre composition, length and sheet thickness are provided), and then saturated in the liquid, a shaft 5 being then threaded through the discs which are then compressed axially to squeeze out excess liquid, the roller surface then being abraded (e.g. as at 15). A knitted nylon sleeve 16 may be slid over the completed roller. Various preferred dimensions, weights and proportions are included.
