823,170. Textile fibre drawing apparatus. SCHIESS A. G. July 29, 1957 [Aug. 11, 1956], No. 23880/57. Class 120(2) In a double-belt drawing unit, the belts are intermediately maintained in contact by pairs of rollers, one roller of each pair being circumferentially recessed. The number of intermediate rollers, their positions and their weights may be adjusted. In some embodiments, as Fig. 4, one or both of the front belt rollers 1, 1<SP>1</SP> may be recessed. There may be several recesses one one roller corrsponding to the number of slivers acted upon by the belts.
