792,031. Vehicle couplings. DAIMLERBENZ AKT.-GES. May 4, 1956 [May 6, 1955], No. 13891/56. Class 103(5) The locking pin 9 which prevents the coupling pin 6 being raised for uncoupling is withdrawn by the action of cam surfaces 13 when the lever 11 is rotated such rotation of the lever 11 only being possible when the brake pipe connection 17 is removed thereby applying the trailer brakes. The pin, 6 is raised by the lever 8 mounted on a shaft 7 and the notch in the end of the lever 8 engages the crosspin on the coupling pin 6 when in its raised position so that when the tow-bar 4 strikes the pin 6 it will fall to effect automatic coupling.
