Abstract
787,173. Semi-rotary pumps. ATELIERS DE POCLAIN. Aug. 24, 1956 [Aug. 25, 1955], No. 25954/56. Class 110 (2). Two cylinders 1, 2, one fixed and one movable, have an annular working space 3 between them, one cylinder being moved by hydraulic pressure acting on a vane 7 fixed to it, the stationary cylinder carrying an abutment or fixed vane 4. As shown, fluid under pressure entering space 3 through a port 9 acts on the vane 7 and moves the inner cylinder 2, a port 10 acting as an outlet. Cup-shaped, annular packing rings 11, 12 close the ends of the working chamber. The parts 4, 7 have surrounding packing pieces 14 shaped to fit in the cups 13 of the rings 11, 12.
