Abstract
A composition for regulating the growth of plants comprises in a liquid solvent medium an auxin e.g. 2 : 4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid or 2 : 4 : 5-trichlorophenoxy acetic acid or propionic acid and, as an oligo-element additive, at most 200 mg/litre of a compound of boron, of boric acid or a salt or ester thereof, cobalt, zinc, e.g. chloride or nitrate or molybdenum e.g. molybdenum nitrate, a molybdate or a molybdate ester, and/or at most 500 mg/litre of a compound of rubidium. The additive may be present in solution e.g. dissolved together with the auxin in an oil.ALSO:A composition for regulating the growth of plants comprises in a liquid solvent medium an auxin, e.g. 2 : 4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid or 2 : 4 : 5-trichlorophenoxy acetic acid or propionic acid and, as an oligo-element additive, at most 200 mg./litre of a compound of boron, e.g. boric acid or a salt or ester thereof, cobalt, zinc, e.g. chloride or nitrate or molybdenum, e.g. molybdenum nitrate, a molybdate or a molybdate ester, and/or at most 500 mg./litre of a compound of rhubidium. The additive may be present in solution, e.g. dissolved together with the auxin in an oil.
