780,440. Mould conveyers. FOUNDRY EQUIPMENT, Ltd., and BEECH, A. S. Nov. 22, 1955 [Nov. 22, 1954], No. 33801/54. Class 78 (1). Endless conveyer plate 35 is bent at the rear to form supporting plate 36, the whole being secured to frame 27-28, and the successive frames are pivotally linked at 26. The front end of a conveyer plate rests on rollers 33, and the rear end or supporting plate of a conveyer plate rests on rollers 34, and these rollers transfer the weight to axle 17 on which the rollers are mounted, so that track wheels 16 carry the weight of the conveyer plates, the rollers serving to allow the turning movement between the successive plates. Sand may be placed on supporting plate 36 to catch split molten metal. Guiding means 15 keep the axle perpendicular to track 11.
