Abstract
1,075,513. Conveyer systems. GEO. W. KING Ltd. Feb. 11, 1965 [Feb. 25, 1964], No. 7877/64. Heading B7L. A trolley for use with a conveyer system wherein the conveyers are propelled along a fixed track by engagement with pusher dogs spaced along an endless driven chain spaced above the track comprises a frame 10 in which are mounted fixed stub shafts 17 carrying pairs of rotatable upper and lower wheels 11 and 14 which run respectively on parallel upper and lower faces 12 and 15 of the two piece track 13, and pairs of guide rollers 16, each pair rotatably mounted on a'fixed vertical spindle 20, which are adapted to co-operate with the inwardly facing track walls to prevent lateral tilting of the trolley. The stub shafts 17 are prevented from axial movement by removable bolts 19 and retained in hollow bushes 18 present in the frame 10. Each spindle 20 is supported in aligned bushes 21, 22, 23 formed in the frame, and locked in place by a pin 24. The upper part of the frame is provided with upstanding lugs 25 adapted to provide a seating for a top plate 26 which is releasably received by pin 28. Loads are supported from the trolleys by apertured lugs 30. The trolley may be withdrawn from the track by removing the top plate 26 and upper wheels 11.
