A gas pressure regulator valve 3 operated by a membrane 2 has its casing formed with an inlet pipe socket 8 and an outlet socket 9 for separate connection to a service pipe and a further inlet 12 and outlet 13, coaxial, as shown, forming a single coupling element 10 for connection with an outlet and inlet respectively in a corresponding coupling element 16 of a gas meter.
