769,599. Bed settees. BEBRY BEDDING CORPORATION. Nov. 15, 1954 [Dec. 3, 1953], No. 33028/54. Class 52 (2). An ottoman convertible into a bed has a foldable frame 11 consisting of an inner end section 38, a short intermediate section 39, a long intermediate section 40 and an outer end section 41, the section 38 being supported on crossed bars 42, 43 pivoted by pins 44 and connected by pins 45 to the side flanges of section 38 and by pin and slot 53 and at their lower ends by pin and slot connections 50, 52 to the rails of the ottoman frame 10 so that when the bed is collapsed section 38 is lowered into the ottoman, section 39 takes up a vertical position therein, section 40 is inverted over section 38 and the end section 41 is supported thereabove and supports a cushion to serve as the ottoman seat. A head board 100 is fixed between side members 101 on pivots 102 and is moved into position by links 104, 105, 108.
