765,123. Glazing strips. MORRIS MOTORS, Ltd. Aug. 31, 1955 [Sept. 1, 1954], No. 25361/54. Class 20(3) A rubber glazing strip for mounting the glass panel H of a wrap-round type of windscreen or backlight for a motor vehicle, comprises a body portion A which is channelled at B to grip the panel, a second body portion C initially spaced from portion A and grooved to engage a retaining flange F around the window aperture, and resilient webs D interconnecting the portions A, C, to permit the spacing between them to be altered according to variations in the size of the panel H. The webs D may be curved and integral with portions A, C. A curved lip I on portion A cooperates with part J of the body panelling and sealing compound may be applied therebetween.
