Class 99(1) A readily engageable and disengageable coupling for connecting a branch pipe 2 to a main conduit 1 comprises a housing 3 with a cylindrical boring 6 for receiving an end piece 17 of the branch pipe. When the end piece is turned the flange 19 engages behind the head of a screw 20. The end piece may be of metal or other appropriate material and may be formed integrally with the branch pipe. The branch pipe may be suspended by the hook-shaped arm 22. The main conduit may be a milk conveying conduit of a milking plant and the pipe 2 a pipe leading from a teat cup. set.
