Abstract

784,008. Teat-cups. LANGTON, W. E. June 22, 1956 [July 7, 1955], No 19628/55. Class 84. A teat cup assembly comprises a tubular liner 3 connected to a connector 4, preferably of stainless steel, by a retainer 5. The connector is sealed to the teat cup shell 8 at 8a by the tension of the liner acting on the expanded end of a milk pipe 6, the expansion being caused by a bulbous part 4b of the connecter. A pulsating vacuum is applied through a pipe 9 which is integral with the teat cup shell. In a modification (not shown) the pulsator line is secured to a hole in the shell in the same way as a rubber grommet grips in a hole.
