Abstract

919,563. Teat cups. BURRY, H. W. Sept. 29, 1961 [July 26, 1960], No. 25904/60. Class 5(1). A teat cup comprises a lining having a collapsible tubular portion 1 of flattened crosssection, formed integrally with a non-collapsible tubular portion 3 by which it is directly connected to the milk-claw, and an intermediate part 2, of circular cross-section, formed with circular ribs 5 by means of which the lining is held taut in the casing of the teat cup. The lining is fitted into the casing with the lowest rib 5 against the outer surface of the casing 7 and as the lining is stretched in use, the tension is re-established by drawing the next lowest rib below the neck 6. To prevent the lining from becoming separated from the casing when the teat cup is out of use the lining is provided with protuberances 10. Specification 644,168 is referred to.
