Abstract

284,236. Capil, W. Jan. 25, 1927, [Convention date]. Cow-milkers.-In order to give a stripping action, milking- machine teat cups are provided with a flexible corrugated tubular extension G to engage with the udder, the extension being either fitted, as shown, at the top of the cup, or formed at the upper end of an ordinary rubber inflation A. The corrugation of the extension is obtained by the insertion of a ring B, a further ring C being inserted at the top end of the extension. The lower end of the inflation may be turned back over the reduced end of the casing and be held in place by the flange of a nipple which in turn is secured by a cap screwed on to the casing. One or more air vents L are provided between the corrugations or the rings B, C. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also an inflation with an extension having moulded corrugations, the rings B, C not being used. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
