Abstract

644,168. Teat cups. BURRY, H. W. March 17, 1948, No. 7946. [Class 84] A teat cup comprises a rubber, lining 1. having a collapsable tubular portion moulded with a flattened cross-section, and a metal casing 2, the rubber lining having a non-collapsable bulbous annular mouthpiece 3 moulded integrally on the tubular portion and having an internal flexible rim 4 for fitting around the teat 5. A hood 6 moulded integrally with the lining fits over a rim 7 of the casing. The bulbous mouthpiece has a small vent hole 10 or a larger hole may be fitted with a rivet in which a small hole has been drilled.
