[Class 84] In a teat cup in which the casing is formed of telescopic parts 1, 2 and a ring 8 of rubber or other elastic material on part 2 forms an abutment for a conical flange 9 at the lower end of the part 1 to provide an airtight-seal and retain the parts in an extended position, the part 2 is provided with one or more circumferential grooves 10 to receive the ring 8. The angle between the flange 9 and the part 2 should not exceed 18 degrees.
