Abstract

762,287. Folding perambulators. SHURESTA (A. MIRECKI), Ltd. Jan. 20, 1955 [Jan. 20, 1954], No. 1656/54. Class 108(1). A folding perambulator has a pair of links 6, 7 carrying wheeled axles 9, 10 and forming with the links 15, 16 and the handle sides 13 a parallelogrammic structure. The links 16 are pivoted to the lower ends of the handle sides and the chair is maintained in the erected condition by catch members 21 pivoted on the pin 20 forming the pivotal connection between the arm rests and the back rest support links 15. The catch members 21, Fig. 4, are provided with slots 25 to engage the pins 22 on the links 16 and the sloping surfaces 30 ride over the pins 22 for automatic engagement.
