Class 122(5) [Also in Group XXXVII] An arrangement for transmitting limited rotational movement to a member within a sealed and pressurised casing 1 comprises a shaft 2 which extends through the casing wall 3 and is sealed by a bush 6 of rubber or like resilient material secured in a fluid-tight manner to both the shaft and the casing, at least part of the axial load on the shaft due to the pressure differential being absorbed by interengaging surfaces on the shaft and casing respectively. The bush 6 is bonded to the shaft and to a boss 4 sealed to the casing by a gasket 5 and engaged at its inner end by a collar 7 secured to the shaft.
