754,701. Optical objectives. VEB. C. ZEISS JENA. Dec. 28, 1954, No. 37493/54. Class 97 (1). A photographic objective consists of two simple collective components enclosing two dispersive meniscus components concave to a diaphragm between them, the meniscus to the front of the diaphragm being simpli and the other meniscus a cemented doublet, the focal length of the front collective component being greater than 1.3F and less than 1.6F and the focal length of that part of the objective situ ated behind the diaphragn being greater than 0.75F and less than 0.85F, when F is the focal length of the objective. Numerical data are given for one example of the objective shown.
