Abstract
753,629. Control systems for stage lighting. SIEMENS-SCHUCKERTWERKE AKT.-GES. May 21, 1954 [May 22, 1953], No. 15061/54. Class 38 (4). Electromagnetic clutches 1, 2 for actuating a stage-lighting dimmer are remotely controlled from the stage switchboard by a switch 3 and from an auxiliary point, say the auditorium, by push-buttons 15, 16, interference between the two control systems being avoided by a relay having contacts 5 in the feed circuit to the switch 3 and its winding energized over back contacts of the push-buttons, whereby the feed to the switch 3 is interrupted when either of the push-buttons is operated. Rectifiers 9, 10, 13, 14 prevent the flow of undesired currents. When the control of a number of dimmers is involved, the relay 5, 6 may operate to inhibit the control of only some of them from the switchboard.
