Abstract

752,380. Separation of dust from gases. FARBENFABRIKEN BAYER AKT.-GES., and TITANGES. April 1, 1954 [April 2, 1953], No. 9619/54. Class 8(2). The curved inlet pipe 1 of a conventional gas filter has longitudinal flexible guide vanes 2 across its section to provide uniform gas flow and are so arranged as to flutter and thereby prevent deposition of dust thereon. The pointed ends only of the vanes 2 may be of flexible material, e.g. rubber or plastic.
