Abstract

Class 122(2) In a pressurefluid actuated motor as described and claimed in the parent Specification, the slide valve actuating rod 17 is balanced by connecting the bore 69 in which the upper or outer end 17b of the rod slides with a duct communicating with the fluid, inlet duct 9a to the top of the main piston cylinder 20. The valve rod 17 slides in bores 68, 69 in coaxial sleeves 66, 67 in the cylindrical valve housing 21 and the upper or outer sleeve 67 is closed by a cap 70 sealed to the housing 21 by a packing ring 71. The fluid inlet duct 9a is connected to the bore 69 by means of a duct 72, the space 73 between the cap 70 and the housing 21, and slots 74 in the sleeve 67. Pressure fluid is supplied to the valve housing 21 through a bore in a lateral plug 64 therein.
