750,879. Roller conveyers. ALLMANNA SVENSKA ELEKTRISKA AKTIEBOLAGET. June 18, 1954, No. 17897/54. Class 78 (1). One of the bearing pivots 4 of a roller 2 is provided with a cylindrical boring 5 which is heated to permit the insertion of an extension 6 of the shaft of the driving motor 1. When the bearing cools, the shaft is held firmly. A duct 7 closed by a threaded plug 8 connects the boring 5 to the outside of the bearing. During heating by a torch flame the plug is removed to allow the combustion gases to escape. When the parts 4, 6 are to be disconnected, the shaft 6 is forced out of the boring by high pressure oil supplied to the duct 7 through a pipe-line. A stop member 9 fixed to the motor 1 is inserted in a yieldable intermediate member 10 mounted in a sleeve 11 fixed to the bearing pedestal 3.
