Class 61 The jaws of pliers having parallel movement are pivoted at c to the ends of crossed pivoted handles a, tails d of the jaws being provided, each having a pin and. slot engagement with the opposite handle on the opposite side of the pivot b. The tails of the jaws are accommodated in the channel section handles a which are spanned by pins a<SP>2</SP>; closed arcuate slots d<SP>2</SP> in the tails of the jaws engage the pins. The usual compression spring e is provided.
