In a flue arrangement for a domestic fire. back boiler, a rectangular passage behind the boiler leads into a flue of round or oval cross-section provided with a damper assciated with a cleaning door so as to be removed therewith. The damper 7 is secured to a spindle 8 mounted on the flue cleaning door 6, and removed with it to clean the flue. The door 6 closes an opening in an upper backwardly inclined part of a flue pipe 5 which fits into an opening at the top of the rectangular flue 4 formed behind the boiler.
