724,254. Hot-water boilers. BEDFORD, W., and ROBINS, C. Nov. 23, 1953 [Nov. 22, 1952], No. 29558/52. Class 64 (1). In a fireplace boiler having side waterways 1 connected by a top waterway 2, a back waterway 3, and a mid-feather waterway 8 spaced from the latter, the back waterway 3 is interrupted at or just below its mid-height by a flue outlet 4, and the midfeather 8 is extended at its lower end into the lower part 3a of the back waterway. The upper end of the mid-feather is spaced from the top waterway 2. Front waterways 5, 5a are provided, and the firebars may be water-tubes. An additional flue outlet leading to oven flues is provided in the top waterway at 10 or in one of the side waterways. Dimensions are given.
