745,392. Floors, ceilings and roofs. EEK, L. E. May 7, 1953, No. 12780/53. Class 20(4). A filler block for concrete floors or roofs is formed of two parts each comprising a rectangular base a bevelled at b along three edges and upstanding walls c connected to the three bevelled edges b and joined at their top by inwardly rounded portions d which connect them to an upper surface e. The two parts are placed facing each other to form the hollow blocks and blocks placed together so that their bases are juxtaposed, leaving spaces 2 between. Reinforcing bars are placed in the spaces 2 and concrete 3 poured into the spaces and on top to form the floor. Light concrete or other heat and/or sound insulating material may fill or partly fill the hollow blocks before making up the floor or roof.
