Class 87(i) In a building block comprising an outer portion 1 of ballast concrete and an inner portion 2 of lightweight concrete, vertical apertures 5, 6 and end grooves 7, 9 are formed in both portions. A longitudinal tongue 3 and a corresponding groove are provided on the top and bottom faces. Corresponding corner and half blocks are described.
