A grill for use with a gas cooker comprises a panel having a rectangular recess for the grill, a grill enclosure formed by a cover plate and a pair of side flaps hinged to the cover plate and a pivot for the grill arranged parallel with and adjacent to the lower edge of the recess and serving as part of the gas supply to the grill burners, arranged so that the side flaps support the grill on the hot plate in a horizontal position of use and enclose the grill when it is stowed in the recess. The head of a tubular burner 7 is rotatably mounted between a gas inlet nozzle 12 and a spring-loaded pin 13 in the lower part of a shallow recess in the splash plate 4 of a cooker. A cover plate 9 encloses the frets which are held in position by an inner cover 14 secured to the burner. Side flaps 10, hinged to the cover 9 and provided with guide rails for a food pan, support the grill above the hot plate of the cooker. A stop 7c on the burner head abuts against a fixed stop 20 to limit the movement of the grill, and a plate 21, carried on radial arms, closes the bottom of the recess when the grill is swung to its closed position, when the side plates 10 close the front of the recess. A forked lever 16 engaging a pin 15 on the inner cover 14 closes the gas supply tap when the grill is stowed.
