741,375. Automatic control systems. LICENTIA PATENT-VERWALTUNGS-GES. Feb. 3, 1953 [Feb. 7, 1952], No. 3037/53. Class 38(4). In an A.C. voltage regulating system having the regulator R supplied through a saturated choke L, a further unsaturated choke L<SP>1</SP> and capacitor C is connected in series in the circuit to be resonant at the fundamental frequency but block the harmonics due to the saturated choke. A parallel resonant circuit S draws current through the choke L<SP>1</SP> to provide frequency compensation. The Specification states that the regulator R may be e.g. the field of an exciter fed through a rectifier.
