Abstract

740,624. Valve generating circuits. TESLA NARODNI PODNIK. Dec. 23, 1952, No. 32553/52. Class 40 (6). The amplitude of oscillation of a resistancecapacity oscillator is stabilized by means of a current-variable resistor 13 connected between the cathode of a valve in the oscillator circuit and the cathode of a balancing valve 20 having the same D.C. cathode potential. As applied to an oscillator of the Wien bridge type (Fig. 4, not shown) the oscillator valve 15, Fig. 5, is provided with anode and cathode loads 7, 8 respectively, feeding the bridge network 9-12 and the amplitude of oscillation is determined by the negative feed-back produced in valve 15 by the resistor 13. Another embodiment, Fig. 6, comprises an oscillator utilizing a bridged-T network, one shunt element in which is formed by a cathode-follower 28 with a condenser 26 connected between grid and cathode. The non-linear resistor 13 then controls the degree of feed-back and thus the effective input capacity of the valve 28.
