Abstract

738,927. Pipette-dropper stoppers. SAVARY, A. Sept. 22, 1953 [Sept. 26, 1952], No. 26145/53. Class 125(1). A closure dropper assembly comprises a top wall 10 having an annular skirt 11 both formed integrally from rigid material, a dome shaped flexible and impervious cap 17 engaged in sealing relationship round the outer wall of the shirt 11 and spaced from the top wall 10 and a tubular pipette member 20 integral with the top wall 10, whose end 30 may be initially sealed, depending from an aperture in the top wall 10, means, e.g. a screw thread 12 being provided on the skirt 11 for attachment to seal a container. An annular flange 14 preferably serrated on its outer wall 19 extends outwardly from the lower edge of the skirt 11 to from a seat for the dome shaped cap 17. The pipette 20 may be graduated. The top wall 10 may taper downwardly towards the centre aperture 21.
