Class 125(iii) In a closure comprising a metallic cap 2 with a separa t e deformable sealing element therein, the element consists of a disc-shaped member 3 of highpolymer plastic material and having an integral annular rib 1 circumferentially disposed and protruding beyond the disc. The element which is deformed, to complete the seal, by the closing pressure of the cap may have ribs either side and various modifications are shown and described.
