738,430. Cams; linkwork. MULLER, E. June 8, 1953 [July 22, 1952], No. 15738/53. Class 80 (3). [Also in Group IX] The picking cam 3 of a loom is loose on its driving shaft 1 and is rotated by a driver 14 pivoted to a disc 8 fast on the shaft; the end 23 of the driver runs in a stationary grooved cam 24 so shaped as to accelerate the picking cam as its lobe operates the follower 4a. In another form, a threearmed driver is mounted on a radial pivot carried by the shaft between the picking cam and the stationary cam, one arm engaging the picking cam and the other having followers running on conjugate cam tracks on the face of the stationary cam.
