375,604. Cigar-making machines. DUNLOP, S., 49, Chancery Lane, London. - (Aktiebolaget Formator ; 20, Alstr÷mergatan, Stockholm.) Aug. 24, 1931, No. 23757. [Class 130.] A leaf transferring carrier 1 which performs an oscillating movement and a shaft 2 of which moves parallel to itself, has its movements controlled by curved slots or tracks 23, 22 in a pair of plates 18, 6 in such a manner that the slot or track 23 controls the oscillating movement whereas the slot or track 22 controls the movement of the shaft 2. The carrier 1 is connected by a toggle lever 3, 4 to a driving shaft 9 and carries a pin 2a which bears against the slot or track 22. An arm 7 fixed to the pin 2a carries a roller 17 which bears against the slot or track 23. The shaft 9 is oscillated through toothed segments 11, 12, and the latter carries an arm 14 which engages a cam track 16. The plates 6, 18 are relatively adjustable to enable the curved tracks to be set independently.
