Conveying rotary motion. -In means for driving a shaft d at slow speed from a shaft a, similar oscillating levers i<1>, i<2>, i<3> &c. pivoted on the shaft d and connected thereto by ball ratchet clutches are formed with curved slots j<1> to engage eccentrics or cams f<1> secured to the shaft a. The slots are so shaped that a constant speed is transmitted to the shaft d, the various levers acting in succession. The slotted ends of the levers may be made adjustable to compensate for wear.
