Abstract

737,708. Distribution boxes. DORMAN & SMITH, Ltd. April 15, 1954 [April 22, 1953], No. 11019/53. Class 38 (1). Fuse bases 9 are mounted on a busbar 3 which serves both to support the bases and convey current thereto. Screws 10 passing through the bases enter the bus-bar and in addition to mounting the bases, connect contact plates 11 to the bus-bar, each of said plates being connected to one terminal of each base. The bus-bar is supported at its ends within insulating mountings 6 in a box 5 and the main cable may be connected directly thereto, or indirectly as in Specification 737,709. The bus-bar may be located towards one end of the bases in which case the connections between it and the terminals can be made directly.
