A collector, conveyer and exhauster for a flour-milling machine comprises a hopper a which delivers stock through a bottom opening b into an air channel c leading to a conveyer line d, a rearward extension c<SP>1</SP> of the channel c communicating at d<SP>1</SP> with the hopper at a point above the level at which stock accumulates to provide an exhaust for the machine. Slides f, g mounted on the inside of the hopper can be moved across the opening b. The slide f controls the air flow through the channel c<SP>1</SP> and the slide g controls the discharge of the stock. The hopper a is within the machine frame above floor level and the air channel c is above floor level beneath the machine.
