746,001. Pneumatic conveyers. FULLER CO. April 9, 1954 [May 22, 1953], No. 10516/54. Class 78 (1). Apparatus for supplying pulverulent material from a storage bin 1 to volumetric feeders 6, 9, 10 comprises a closed trough slightly inclined to the horizontal which is divided into a lower air chamber 3 and an upper conveying chamber 5 by a gas-permeable platform 4. The chamber 5 has lateral off-takes 7, 7<SP>1</SP> leading to downwardly-extending conduits 8, 8<SP>1</SP> provided with a rotary feeder 9 and a screw feeder 10, respectively. The flow from the bin is regulated by an adjustable weir 11. The platform 4 may consist of tightly-woven multi-ply canvas. Specification 637,472 is referred to.
