Abstract
In a motor vehicle frame formed of welded tubular members (see Group XXXI) the members may be made of a magnesium alloy containing up to 8 per cent aluminium, 1 per cent zinc and 0.3 per cent manganese, or from one of the alloys containing 0.3 to 0.9 per cent zirconium together with, if desired, 1 to 5 per cent zinc and possibly 0.2 to 3.5 per cent rare earth metals, the balance being magnesium.
