Abstract

732,884. Furnace walls. LACLEDECHRISTY CO. July 23, 1953 [Jan. 30, 1953], No. 20506/53. Classes 51 (1) and 51 (2). A furnace wall comprises a plurality of aligned spaced supporting brackets, a hanger tile supported by each bracket and protruding laterally therefrom, a pair of opposed tiles suspended from each hanger tile and filler tiles between pairs of said opposed tiles. As shown in the Figures, brackets 26 carried on cross members 24 support hanger tiles 28 each of which in turn supports a pair of tiles 30, 32; a filler tile 34 is supported between each pair of tiles 30, 32. Rows of further tiles 39 and 40 are disposed between the horizontal rows of tiles 30, 32, 34.
