690,524. Ceilings. DORTMUNDER UNION BRUCKENBAU AKT.-GES. May 2, 1951 [Aug. 3, 1950], No. 10312/51. Class 20(iv) A false ceiling suspended from an upper supporting ceiling comprises intersecting rods 1 on which ceiling boards 9 are laid, the rods being broken at each intersection and inter-connected by lower and upper plates 2, 3, which are clamped together by the nut 6 of a screw bolt 4 carried by a suspension rod 5. The height of the ceiling is adjustable by means of a nut 7. The lower plate 2 has upstanding plates 8, 8' as guides or stops for the supporting rods. The panels 9 may be of asbestos cement, wood wool plates or glass.
