Abstract

A coil or grid through which a heating fluid is passed (see Group XIII) is made of an alloy having a nominal composition of approximately 76 to 78 per cent copper, 20 to 22 per cent zinc and 1.8 to 2.3 per cent aluminium. This alloy may contain 0.04 per cent arsenic and other elements present as impurities not exceeding 0.3 per cent of which 0.03 per cent is lead. Specification 577,065 is referred to.
