Abstract

A lubricating composition comprises a liquid thermostable condensed aryl silicate, preferably free from polymers lower than the tetramer, and colloidal graphite. The composition claimed in Specification 727,231 is disclaimed. Specification 591,767, [Group III], also is referred to.ALSO:A liquid thermostable condensed aryl silicate, preferably free from polymers lower than the tetramer, is used as a lubricant, out of contact with water. Colloidal graphite may be mixed with the silicate. The lubricant claimed in Specification 727,231 is disclaimed. Specification 591,767 also is referred to.
