Class 103 (1) In an internal shoe drum brake the pins 9 about which the shoes 2 pivot are supported at one end by the brake plate 10 and at the other end by a supplementary plate 13 rigidly mounted by connecting it with one end of a tubular axle housing 14. The integral tubular extension 15 on the plate 13 is preferably rigidly connected to the member 14 by butt-welding.
